The Access & Pricing team within GRG provides highly strategic market access consulting services across the life sciences sector. As part of that work, Access & Pricing leverages its Rapid Payer Response™ (RPR) platform to support clients in delivery of primary research insight in record times. Our consulting team drives the delivery of RPR-lead research supported by in-depth interview methodologies and secondary research to deliver detailed strategic findings to our clients. As an online platform, RPR has revolutionized the way our Access & Pricing consulting team engages with, and gathers strategic insight from healthcare stakeholders globally, allowing us to support our clients with efficient and effective delivery of market access strategy projects.

To support the growth of our established team, we are looking for a Director with demonstrated Pricing and Market Access consultancy and/or biopharma industry experience. As a member of the team, you will work on RPR-driven research, utilizing both primary and secondary methodologies, within a strong, collaborative, and pragmatic consulting team.

Flexible – hybrid or remote, depending on location.

Accountabilities within this role:

  • Cultivate existing and new relationships with senior-level clients at pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. 
  • Grow existing client accounts and participate in business development, including identification of new business opportunities, proposal development, and strategic leadership. 
  • Be accountable for individual revenue targets and budgets, and contribute towards departmental target achievement. 
  • Accountable for end-to-end execution of market access research projects, including but not limited to: 
  • Understanding client need 
  • Designing and executing secondary research strategy 
  • Designing and executing primary research materials 
  • Selecting and suggesting payer archetypes which fit best client needs 
  • Guiding project teams in analysis and report development 
  • Development of deliverables including strategic insights and recommendations. 
  • Accountable for delivery of high-quality reports that meet client business objectives and timelines 
  • Project oversight and ownership, including not only the day-to-day delivery and timeline of the projects, but also delivering client presentations for pitch meetings and other key meetings. 
  • Provide leadership and hands-on guidance to the project team, act as subject matter expert 
  • Opportunity to line manage 
  • Training responsibilities from a Global Market Access perspective, including payer archetypes, market environment for the US, EU5, Latin American, Asia-Pacific, and emerging markets 
  • Support the expansion of the GRG’s stakeholder network and recruitment of payers and payer advisors globally 
  • Cultivate a positive work environment and uphold the GRG culture 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of industry or consulting experience in Pricing and Market Access. 
  • Expert-level knowledge of global health care payer systems and Health Technology Assessments  
  • Experience conducting payer research globally (including Europe, US, LatAm, AsiaPac, and emerging markets) 
  • Outstanding healthcare/life sciences industry knowledge. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Enthusiasm to learn and motivation to take opportunities to develop oneself. 
  • Demonstrable teambuilding / leadership skills and ability to inspire, and act as a go to expert internally 
  • Pragmatic, can-do attitude 
  • Ability to effectively work in a matrix environment and flexibility to adapt to client project needs in a fast-paced entrepreneurial workplace. 
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and work to tight deadlines
