Associate Director, Value Communications

This senior role within our expanding value and scientific communications team combines oversight of the development of value communications materials including dossiers, value story slide decks, and HTA submissions. It also provides an exciting opportunity to shape our relationships with key clients.

The professional in this role will have a passion for cultivating existing and new client relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance current business in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors.

Accountabilities within this role

  • Manage the development of value communication materials including global value dossiers, value story slide decks, and HTA submissions according to the planned project timelines and budget, and in compliance with all company quality standards and processes. This will include writing, editing, and revising value documents.
  • Manage existing and developing client relationships, including provision of strategic support, methodological design/approach, and oversight for value communications materials, post-submission support, and scientific advice submissions.
  • Train and supervise staff on the development of value communications materials.
  • Assist in developing standards and processes, facilitate training opportunities, and provide consultation and resources to Genesis Research Group project teams for value communications materials.
  • Ensure that Genesis Research Group HTA and scientific advice submissions to and on behalf of clients are consistent with the requirements of relevant HTA bodies and other external stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally within the company with client management teams, administrative staff, scientific staff, and medical writing staff, and externally with clients, medical practitioners, and HTA bodies, as needed.
    Participate in quality control reviews including taking responsibility for the finalization of client deliverables and ensuring all work is delivered at a high-quality.
  • Lead client capabilities presentations, meetings, and support proposal development.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD degree within a relevant discipline (e.g., health economics, mathematics, science, economics, or other related discipline).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • 5+ years of experience of producing and managing the production of value communication materials. Experience of supporting or evaluating product submissions to HTA agencies, such as NICE, SMC, CADTH, HAS, G-BA, ICER, is desirable.
  • 5+ years of HTA, industry, or consulting experience in life science research is preferred.
  • Outstanding healthcare/life sciences industry knowledge.
  • Ability to create, communicate, and manage effective project plans that support the delivery of overall project objective(s); to identify, manage and guide project team members; to monitor and report on progress in an organized fashion; and to deliver the required results.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and motivation to take opportunities to develop oneself and others within Genesis Research Group.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a matrix environment and flexibility to adapt to client project needs in a fast-paced entrepreneurial workplace.
