Job Overview: Project Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Operations Manager (POM) to join our Project Operations & Initiatives team. The POM will play a key role in ensuring the successful management of project administration, financial oversight, and documentation. This position will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the seamless execution of projects, from initiation to closing, with a focus on efficiency, financial management, and ensuring adherence to quality and process standards.

Flexible – hybrid or remote, depending on location.

Accountabilities within this role:

Lead administrative and financial aspects of new project set up within GR systems (MS Teams, SalesForce, Certinia, Excel).
Schedule and coordinate internal project kickoff and closeout meetings.
Ensure project and quality management standards/processes are adhered to by the cross-functional project team throughout the duration of the engagement.
Oversee and manage all aspects of project financials including planning, resource utilization, revenue forecasting, and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Lead real-time project financial performance monitoring and provide insights. Keep project teams informed of project financials/KPIs, escalate issues to project leads and collaborate to course-correct when required.
Lead discussion on project finances at internal kickoff, internal project status calls and project closeouts.
Support development of internal tools and dashboards (in Tableau or similar) to view internal project financial metrics, engagement utilization and resourcing, and generate external, client-facing insights.
Generate client-facing utilization and project status reports.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in project management, financial oversight, and utilization tracking.
Knowledge of project financials, revenue forecasting, margins, and profitability.
Proficiency with MS Office, MS Teams, SalesForce, Certinia, and Tableau (or similar). Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
