Senior Manager, Client Engagement

The Client Engagement Team and this position:

The Genesis Research Group client engagement team consists of those with scientific, analytics, or project management background leading multiple interdisciplinary RWE evidence generation teams to support market access, HEOR, patient affordability, impact of healthcare reform, and regulatory aspects of life science assets for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. The professional in this role will demonstrate a passion for organization, collaboration, team management, and using data and research to answer healthcare-related questions.

The Senior Manager, Client Engagement, will provide scientific and project leadership, strategic thinking, utilization and revenue management, and communication with internal project teams, including biostatisticians, analysts, epidemiologists and other research professionals. The individual in this role will serve as the primary point of communication to these internal teams and to clients and will be responsible for projects from initiation to close.

This position will report to the Executive Director, Client Engagement.

Flexible – hybrid or remote, depending on location.

Accountabilities within this role:

  • Takes the lead in project initiation and planning, including budgeting, staffing, ensuring necessary data access, as well as kick-off meetings and creating supporting materials.
  • Ensures project execution follows agreed-upon scope and timelines, schedules and leads both internal and external meetings.
  • Reviews and interprets data analysis results, as well as abstracts, posters, reports, manuscripts and more, working with the larger team to effectively present these results to the client.
  • Performs revenue and utilization tracking for ongoing engagements, in addition to monitoring scope and invoicing.
  • Effectively manages internal and external communication between various team members and stakeholders throughout all stages of a project.
  • Ensures completion and documentation of required Quality Control.
  • Maintains accurate records and files pertaining to deliverables, archives and deletes files as necessary once work is complete.
  • Develops client-specific strategic content throughout project and particularly in final deliverables, while ensuring protocol objectives within the scope of the outlined study design and analysis have been addressed.
  • Cultivates a positive work environment and upholds the Genesis Research Group culture.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD degree within a relevant discipline (Public Health, Health Services Research, HEOR, Epidemiology).
  • 4+ years industry or consulting experience in RWE or Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). Global and US RWE & HEOR experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HEOR and RWE research methods, including study design and analysis.
  • Outstanding healthcare/life sciences industry knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and flexibility to adapt to client project needs in a fast-paced entrepreneurial workplace.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and motivation to take opportunities to develop oneself and others within Genesis Research Group.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as MS office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience with SalesForce and/or MS Teams is a plus.
